what is hi honey?
the members' app of honey lou, a bar in berlin-neukölln. invite-only and slow — four curated people a day. come to date, make friends, or catch the live music. made for people who actually want to meet, in person.
is it only for dating?
no. when you set up your profile you choose what you're open to — dating, friendship, or both. plenty of people are here to meet good people and catch the bar's live programme. no pressure either way.
how do i get an invite?
ask someone who's already in, or come by the bar — invite codes live behind the counter on busy nights. you can also apply directly and we'll get back within a few days.
is the app free?
yes. no subscriptions, no in-app purchases. it's a service for the honey lou community — revenue comes from the bar, not from you.
i can't log in.
try reset password. still stuck? email us at hi@honeylou.de with the email you signed up with and we'll dig in.
how do i delete my account?
go to settings → delete account. it's permanent. matches, messages, photos, swipes — everything cascades and is gone within seconds. you don't need to email us.
someone's being weird / unsafe / inappropriate.
in the chat with that person, tap the · · · menu → report or block. blocks are instant. reports come to us — we read every single one within 24 hours and act fast on anything serious. full policy on the community guidelines page.
i'm not getting matches / profiles.
we drop four curated people a day, each morning berlin time. if your profile is incomplete (no photo, no bio, no instagram) you won't be shown to others. fill it out at profile.
can i pause my profile?
yes. settings → pause profile. you stop being shown, you stop seeing new profiles. existing matches and chats stay. unpause any time.
is my data safe?
full details on the privacy page. short version: we don't sell or share your data. it lives on a server in germany. we use industry-standard hashing for passwords and TLS for everything in transit.
