hi honey is operated by honey lou UG (haftungsbeschränkt), anzengruberstraße 3, 12043 berlin. we are a bar, not a technology company. this is a side project that may change, pause, or shut down at any time.

by creating an account you accept these terms. the contract is concluded when your registration is complete. you can terminate at any time by deleting your account in settings.

you must be at least 18 years old. by registering you confirm this is true and that your profile information is honest.

hi honey provides curated profile suggestions and facilitates communication between mutual matches. the service is currently free and experimental. features, matching logic, and availability may change without prior notice. we do not guarantee matches, dates, or any particular outcome.

hi honey is a small, vetted community. you can join via an existing member's invite code or by applying directly — every profile is reviewed by a human. we reserve the right to revoke access or remove accounts at our discretion, particularly for violations of these terms. in such cases, we will inform you of the reason unless legal obligations prevent us from doing so.

be respectful. be honest. don't be creepy.

you own your photos and text. by uploading them you grant hi honey a non-exclusive, revocable license to display them to other members for matchmaking purposes. we do not sell or use your content for advertising. we may remove content that violates these terms.

we may share anonymous aggregated insights about the community (e.g. age distribution, attachment style breakdown, neighborhoods, languages, match patterns) on our social media and marketing materials. this never includes your name, photos, messages, bio, or anything that could identify you. full details — including what we never share — are in our privacy policy.

you are responsible for your interactions with other users, both on the platform and in person. we do not conduct background checks or verify identities beyond basic profile review. exercise the same caution you would when meeting anyone new.

we are not liable for the accuracy of information provided by other users, for the outcome of any interactions between users, or for the availability of the service. this is an experimental, free project — please use it with this understanding.

these terms are governed by the laws of the federal republic of germany. the courts of berlin have jurisdiction, insofar as legally permissible.

we may update these terms as the service evolves. we will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. if you do not object within that period, the updated terms apply. you may terminate your account at any time if you do not agree.

the european commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. we are not obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

you agree to indemnify and hold harmless honey lou UG, its managing directors, and anyone working on hi honey from any third-party claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise out of:

this clause survives termination of your account. it does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer and does not apply where the harm was caused by our intent or gross negligence.

we are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the service that arises from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. this includes but is not limited to:

during such events we will use reasonable efforts to restore the service. liability for life, body, health, or damages caused by intent or gross negligence remains unaffected.

if any provision of these terms is found by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that, as far as legally possible, achieves the original economic intent of the parties.

these terms, together with our privacy policy and impressum, constitute the entire agreement between you and honey lou UG regarding hi honey, and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements on this subject. no waiver of any provision will be valid unless given by us in writing.
